tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-65680889535603313782024-03-13T20:22:06.892-07:00CHiECHiEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18147041954388906717noreply@blogger.comBlogger66125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568088953560331378.post-74163252207526089042009-04-17T19:42:00.000-07:002009-04-17T19:43:09.608-07:00<p><a href="http://fleursdeslettres.com/blog/?p=113" rel="bookmark">籌款──捐助出版《6420》專輯</a></p><p><a href="http://fleursdeslettres.com/blog/?p=113">http://fleursdeslettres.com/blog/?p=113</a></p>CHiEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18147041954388906717noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568088953560331378.post-72133841337077319032009-04-17T00:23:00.000-07:002009-04-17T00:26:26.401-07:00朗天:香港電影的曲線文化一如前料,《投名狀》在第二十七屆香港電影金像獎中成為大贏家,囊括了最佳電影、最佳導演(陳可辛)、最佳男主角(李連杰)等八項大獎。<br />香港電影金像獎素來代表業界的選擇,對過去一年傑出的港片頒發成績表。《投名狀》獲得的肯定,除了關乎藝術和製作水平,其實也標誌了香港資深影人陳可辛在合拍片創作路上,成功走出一條漂亮的「曲線」。<br /><br />香港主權移交之後,被視為代表本土中產創作意識的陳可辛曾致力東南亞市場的經營與開拓,創作上沉寂達五年之久。2003年沙士(SARS)爆發之後,激發他創作了《三更之回家》,充斥死亡、徒勞和哀悼的意象,完全可以看作是對美好殖民年代的追思。CEPA簽定實行,合拍片成風,他也遲遲沒踏出覬覦神洲市場那一步,直至《如果.愛》(2005),以偽歌舞片的類型,迴避了香港電影為適應內地審批制度而自我閹割的尷尬。《投名狀》是他第一次正面面對合拍片文化的製作成果。<br /><br />所謂合拍片文化下的港片自我閹割,是指在本地市場萎縮,不足以自我支撐下,為適應內地制度,港片自行設限,縛手縛腳:鬼片、賭片、黑幫片不能拍;妓女、毒販、歹徒不能有任何正面描寫;賊人結局一定要被繩之於法;主要的警察角色不能腐敗;心狠手辣的壞人不能來自內地……這些自我檢查令七、八十年代港產片擅拍黃、賭、毒題材的特色和活力一掃而空,香港電影的主體性,受到嚴重的損害和摧殘。<br /><br />港產片在2003年前後所面對的困境,某意義上也反映了香港社會整體的困境──便是愈來愈覺得不得不「背靠祖國」(下面那句「面向世界」則屬自我安慰),愈來愈害怕被邊緣化,但作了很多自我檢查和封限後仍在融入的過程中遇上困難。三集《無間道》(2002-3),反映了香港電影人以至港人「兩邊不是人」的身份危機困惱(象徵港人位置的劉健明以瘋狂──沒有出路──告終)。徐克拍攝《七劍》(2005),片末安排七劍上京師奏請朝廷撤銷禁武令,更是通過情節作出大剖白。<br /><br />面對由「禁武令」象徵的合拍片審批制肘,香港電影人較早前的應付策略是攝製不同的結局或版本。《無間道》的內地版本便以劉健明最終被捕;《黑社會》(2005)的內地版《龍城歲月》,片末樂少和大D在水塘反目,也改為一起被警方拘捕。最惡名昭著的改動,則是《豪情》(2003),內地版是完全不同的故事,主角也由創辦色情雜誌的伙伴古天樂和陳奕迅變成原本一度拘捕他們,曉以人生道理的督察李修賢。<br /><br />然而,長期精神分裂始終不是辦法,所以近兩年部份香港電影人已改用「曲線」策略,即只用一個版本,以表面符合審批要求,不會犯禁的情節和元素,包裝暗藏可能不合格的內容訊息,並且逐漸有可能發展成為一種自得其樂的內部遊戲。<br /><br />以《投名狀》為例,大家一早曉得影片原是改編「刺馬」故事。在極具香港武俠片本土特色的張徹原作中,龐青雲的原型馬新貽是出賣兄弟、勾義嫂的傳統大反派。《投名狀》中的龐青雲,卻是原本欲救民於水火之中,對沒有和屬下一起赴死深感疚歉的悲劇人物。他和弟嫂有染,是因二人早相逢於他從死人堆裡爬出來之日,弟嫂提供了讓他重浴生機的女體;他固然言行不能一致,容或有虛偽處,但其「劣行」都可有不得已的苦衷或藉口,都可輕易讓觀眾找到一些為之說項的說法。部份本地觀眾對龐青雲「不夠奸」頗有微詞,殊不知這個角色,正好是《投名狀》為內地觀眾,尤其是內地電影官僚專程改動的,正好是有了這「不夠奸」,懂得策反叛逆,以朝廷為本位的龐青雲,《投名狀》便可以確保通過審檢,也可確保內地的票房。<br /><br />《刺馬》的歷史背景是太平天國,由於中共一直同情太平軍,以他們為農民起義的正面人物,《投名狀》便避重就輕,只把龐青雲他們的對手,抽象化地稱為「敵人」。棄用馬新貽、張汶祥這些真實的歷史名字而改用龐青雲、趙二虎,其深層原因也在這裡。黃縱這角色原本十分平面,陳可辛將之改成趙二虎,把香港元素(例如江湖兄弟義氣勝於國家大義,希望搶錢搶女人多於心繫天下)貫入其中,並找來近年已成為香港標誌(兩集《金雞》、《龍鳳鬥》、《天下無賊》等)的劉德華主演,跟飾演龐青雲,有極深內地淵源的李連杰作一對顯,均見其明修棧道(龐青雲),暗渡陳倉(趙二虎)之志。<br /><br />另一「曲線」傑作是跟《投名狀》同年的《老港正傳》,該片導演是和陳可辛有密切關係的趙良駿。《老港正傳》原名《老左正傳》,通過展示本地老左派的勞碌一生,由小見大,回顧香港由港英殖民地,主權移交,過渡到「後九七」、「後七一」的歷史進程。影片公映之後,不少影評批評電影故意遺漏了「六四事件」,有自我審查,討好中央之嫌。然而,細心的觀眾不難發現,《老港正傳》絕對沒有避談「六四事件」,故事主人翁左向港(原名左長旺)和妻子望著電視機畫面,一臉擔憂夾著悲傷,然後電話響起,傳來老朋友逝世消息的那一場戲,固然明講六四屠城,及後老友喪禮,傾談中有人一句「此一時彼一時」,說有心移民,左向港也把多年積蓄送給老友兒子,因為他已不想再上天安門廣場,在在暗示八九天安門事件對港人(尤其是老左派)的衝擊。「六四事件」,非但沒有被遺漏,反而因為其他大事都會有日曆的特寫作為標記,唯獨這連串場面和事件缺乏了日期標明,結果變得更加突出。電影順利通過檢查,內地覺得它「政治正確」,電影主創人和識貨的本地觀眾也傳達了和接收到暗藏的訊息。<br /><br />這種「曲線文化」也反映在用別人的地方別人的背景說香港情懷本土故事這創作路線上,體現此路線的佼佼者當然便是關錦鵬的《長恨歌》(2005)和許鞍華的《姨媽的後現代生活》(2007)。無獨有偶,兩片的敘事背景都是上海。上海和香港的雙城互補關係,以及大陸解放後上海幫旅居香港,成為香港經濟起飛動力之一,同時構成不少本地電影人的「上海情結」,已有不少論者(包括我)在別處論及,這裡也就不再贅述了。<br /><br />(本文收於斷估唔拉之出版物,另刊於2007香港電影回顧)CHiEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18147041954388906717noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568088953560331378.post-63165039407323285932009-01-08T02:42:00.000-08:002009-01-08T02:43:24.562-08:00<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3Nt3GZWu7Yo&hl=zh_TW&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3Nt3GZWu7Yo&hl=zh_TW&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>CHiEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18147041954388906717noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568088953560331378.post-90104629926065873682009-01-08T02:41:00.000-08:002009-01-08T02:42:19.017-08:00<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TFK22JDOvc4&hl=zh_TW&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TFK22JDOvc4&hl=zh_TW&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>CHiEhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18147041954388906717noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6568088953560331378.post-43794645622042070452008-12-13T21:37:00.000-08:002008-12-13T21:44:12.024-08:00The catalogue for Chie! independence,並把Tibet也混入其中地名.<br />我看不明白篇文的立場,大概是想把內地網民的反應和bjork也各打五十大板?以下這種的想法,真是不敢恭維,跟當天覓現香港的討論不相伯仲:<br /><br />不管怎樣,買票為著看戲聽曲,不是為了你的個人言論自由.若要,籌集資金支持自己的言論,就別用錯圈錢的方式,利用他人對政治以外的興趣,比如音樂,比如裝酷.<br /><br talked with Tobias again today over the trouble with Osage concerning the foyer projection and my earlier entry here. It turned out to be another unfortunate mis-communication between different parties, and I am therefore happy to apologize for any false accusation to anyone based on incomplete facts. (the peculiar fact is ofcourse, how come I also have only the partial facts?)<br /><br />The fact, it seems, is that Osage did ask or communicate (unfortunately just) with Tobias (and not us curators of the show), about what they wanted to do with the foyer projection, while we curators were then still attempting to use the foyer projection for showing our participants' work there. For us, work of art always should have the priorty, and hence we were particularly dissatisfied then, with the intended work showing there being replaced by a design that has not our (curators') endorsement.<br /><br />I certainly do not want to put all the blame on to Tobias, for our idea over the projection at the foyer was a rather late decision, and I principally agreed with Tobias then, that it would be a waste of our energy with what I proposed to do, that of asking both Norman and us to meet with Osage and decide together on what to do with the front projection.<br /><br />Yet taking in Tobias' advise on the spot, I shifted to response to it in the CHiE blog afterwards, by trying to see or link this experience with the topic of creative commons vs copy, stirring up attention to a new kind of unclear border, a grey zone, which is also a part of what the show is trying to address. What is stealing if we are trying to opening up copyright? What is it (or Why is it) that our designer was feeling bad about this? (Because its immitator technique is inferior?)
